One of our articles that once gave a reflection to us on parents who took their babies for granted and even consumed them as their daily diet is the one we had posted earlier on about the perils of an unborn baby.
These are the tips that can help you take care of your children’s safety and well being effectively:
Do Not Leave Them Alone
1. At such a young age, you ought to be around them at all times. If not you, at least another trusted adult, particularly a family member, should be present whenever the child wants to go out somewhere. At this stage, if they are being left alone, anything can happen to them and when it does, they cannot do anything, as they are helpless at their age. So they must be watched over by an adult at all times wherever they go.
You Are Their Key To Their Knowledge
2. Guide them step-by-step about the dos and don’ts in life while they are still young. They must also be educated on how important their safety is. You are their key to their knowledge of what is right and what is wrong. Hence, you must do your part by teaching them. For example, always remind them not to talk to strangers, even if they offer you something as enticing as a lollipop.
Accompany Your Child To The Places They Like
3. If you do not want them to feel that they are deprived of the freedom to have fun out there, then you can bring them to the places they want to go, provided that you are present with them.
While having fun, they must be constantly safe and secure from unwanted dangers that could be lurking behind anywhere they go.
So by doing so, your children can still enjoy themselves and gain the freedom they desire to have, and at the same time, be assured of their safety because they are being watched over by you.
Be More Sensible In The Midst Of Rage
4. Never use extremely harsh words on them. In doing so, you could end up driving the child away from home, causing him or her to wander around a location you might not even know of. Children may be too young to know a lot of things, but they do know that they would feel dejected when someone gets agitated and throws all the hurtful words on them. So if you were to be furious over something, do not vent your anger at them without showing any empathy towards them. If they were to have committed a wrongdoing, be firm but do not resort to extreme fierceness that will frighten them away. Be more sensible even in the midst of rage.
Children are everything the world needs, and if you can do your part as parents to ensure proper care for them, you can help make this world a safer and more secure place for them to live in.
So before any calamity befalls upon your children and affects your other family members and yourself, take one step ahead by taking good care of their safety and well-being both at home and out of home. While they are still at the age where they are dependent, the only adults they can rely on for comfort and protection are their biological parents. Make them feel that you are the best parents they have ever had. So start keeping an eye on them today.

Very good follow up post Nafa! My parents spanked me when I was young but it scared me, they never hurt me.
I was bad and some lite spankings did me some good! So many parents seem to not care about their own children and that's very sad.
Thanks a lot Bobby! Hehe. Spanking was actually the great way for us to learn our lessons and be more well behaved. We had our days too. =)
Ya some parents have been neglecting their roles and responsibilities towards their children and that is quite a sad truth. Hope that our article here can make them be more responsible parents from today. =)
How much things have changed...a few years ago, we could roam around the hills here and play in the streets riding our bycycles till late, and no one was harmed (not that I was aware of)...but now, I have to warn my daughter of all kinds of scary stuff, I have to accomany her everywhere she goes and have never even let her sleep over alone at a friends house.
Childrn need to be taken care of and treated with some decency and respect....I am always amazed when I see how many parents are totally blase, and leave their kids to roam around the streets on their own.
Great follow-up article, you guys Rock !! :)

i for one in the community .. May God Bless the passed Child
Hello Jesse...
Yes it is true what u just said. Things were less dangerous back in the old days. Even so, there were already a few cases of child abuse existing during that time. Today it is just getting worse.
Glad u appreciate this article. Take good care of your beautiful Cassie ok? And take care of yourself too! =)
Hi Mustafa...
Thank u so much for your support. Yes, may He bless the beautiful angel who had left this world. May her soul rest in peace.
How could anyone hit a innocent child? If I saw someone hurt a child, there is a strong possibility I would be going to prison, because I would lose my temper with that person.
Good parents should be good friends with their kids and hang out with them too!
Kids are lots of fun and I thought everyone loved kids. Some people don't and I find that something I don't understand.
There's a definitely line between discipling, parenting, and abuse.
With your tips, hopefully parents will not have to do the latter and disguise it as parenting.
Hi Bobby....
Yes indeed this is something we just cannot comprehend till this day. Parents are the two people whom kids find comfort and security in, but for some parents, what they have done is to scare them away. They may have their mischiefs and mishaps at times, but still, who in the right mind would want to wipe them off from this world?
Bobby we know how compassionate u are towards kids and how u would react towards those people who would intentionally harm them. But oh please, do not land yourself into prison for this ok? Yes u can always be firm with them, but do not resort to violence and all. We need u in this blogosphere to spread more love and peace. =)
Hi Rolando...
True enough. Everything that we do in our lives has its own limits. As parents, we should not always give in to the kids, but at the same time, we should not be like their 'dictators' in life.
Well glad that u acknowledge our article here, and we too hope that it would make parents learn the importance of excellent parenting. =)
Hello.. Just passing here.

All kids are safer in pajamas.
Hi Mike...
Hehe! U got the point there. Thanks for your comments! =)
This is good article, good advice and very true indeed. I gave up my profession to be with my toddler when he was 4 yrs old. Today, he is an independent 18 yr old teenager. Giving lecture to students internationally, selected as leaders every where he goes and earning scholarships for all his education thru competitions. All because, I dedicated my time for him at the right time and guide him along the right path. This is a very good article and only experienced person can write this article . Good job. I will visit your blog always .
