I will cross the ocean, walk in the blazing fire, endure the tormenting rain...I will give you the world...I will do anything for you...
Those words are simply as sweet as honey, aren’t they? And that is how most people would perceive romance to be.
Often, many of us associate romance with sweet and tender loving words, and whenever one is able to bring himself or herself to utter words that are soothing to the ears, he or she will be looked upon as being romantic!
The question is: Should we be too quick to assume someone is romantic solely based on his or her sweet talk??
From what we understand romance is a part of human nature that supposedly develops when you are truly in love and devoted to your partner, and when it combines with the power of your love, it can even make you cherish your partner more than cherishing your own life.
If your partner lets that romance in him or her materialize through words, it would be undeniably a heavenly moment that one would not be able to sleep well thinking about it.
But think again! What if the words are not supported with proofs that he or she truly loves you?
Now that would be indeed thought provoking and something that should make you reflect on the status of your relationship...whether it has the potential to soar to the sky, or it will go down the drain when the time comes....
On the other hand, there are some who are apparently pretty ‘quiet’. They do not seem to let their romantic side shine through words. Either they are not good with their choices of words, or they just feel awkward doing it.
However, beneath their silence lies a sense of care, passion and devotion for their partners that they probably cannot express in words. Maybe it is because they belong to the category of people who think of love as indescribable, or they just find more interest in proving their true feelings through their actions rather than words.
As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words.
So in our opinion, those who express their love with more actions than words should all the more be considered as romantic.
But we all cannot deny that the ideal romantic partner whom we would all yearn to have would be one who can express in both ways, right?
Above all, true romance not only constitutes melodious words that give you butterflies in your stomach. It should also come together with actions that show how much you care, love and want to spend good and bad times with your partner for the rest of your life.
Well, with that in mind, we wish all of you the very best in finding all that romance you need in your love life.
